In 1821 Simeon, along with many others, applied for a land grant along
the Nerepis River in the vicinity of Headline Hill, apparently under the
leadership of Samuel Mahood. (see McGrand) He was aged 35 yrs, was m. and
had five children at that time. He arrived in 1819. Richard, age 28; and
Christopher, aged 24 were also in that group, and apparently unmarried.
Matthew, his son, asked to be permitted to administer his intestate probate
on 30 Jul 1834.

Simon Graham who
is supposed to have come from Scotland, born ca. 1778, lived around Fredericton,
and drowned in the Reversing Falls in St John (don't know when).
A Simon Graham's will probated
30 Jul 1834, which says he lived in Hampstead, Queens Co. NB. Simon was
the father of William Graham b. 4 Feb 1804/5 in Headline, Queens Co, NB.
Thought to have m. in 1829 to Margaret Tuttle Queen (Quinn). He d.
16 May 1894, and is buried in St John, supposedly at Fernhill Cemetery..
