Mark Short (d. 1871 aged 80 yrs, was
from England. He m. there to ... Hoyt.* His grant ran from what has
become known as Machum's Corner to the David Moore lot. He built the
house which Murray Short lived on in 1952. Most of his family came from
England.
* {Mrs. Elder said she was of
England, and also her father was a Loyalist from the USA. This seems to be
a conflict although some Loyalist did go back to England few average
people returned to NB.}

Harrison.

continued it. Albert is buried in the Simpson
Road Cemetery as is his
sister, Elizabeth. His widow is buried by
her second husband in the
